   Here is a link to an extra quiz you can try. It is not homework but it is good practice for listening, answering questions and finding content words.   https://www.examenglish.com/TOEIC/TOEIC_listening_part3.htm    When you look at these questions, try to do the same thing we discussed in class. - quickly identify the CONTENT WORDS - try to PREDICT what sorts of nouns, verbs and sentences you might hear based on these answer choices and CONTENT words - try to do the above things faster and faster with each question you complete   Press the play button to listen to the audio file, then try to choose the correct answer for each question. After you choose your answer, you can click on the *script* button to read the script for each question. You can press the PLAY button again to practice listening to the script.

In today's class we talked about and practiced finding the CONTENT words when reading questions and answer choices. We also talked about making PREDICTIONS based on those content words.  Also, we talked about practicing doing the above tasks quicker and quicker as we practiced more. That is, we talked about reducing your time in finding CONTENT words and making PREDICTIONS.  Remember that the TOEIC test is a timed test, so being able to find content words and make predictions faster and faster is an important skill to practice. It will save you time on the test AND in general it will improve your understanding of English.   For this Unit, your homework is as follows.  1. We completed number 1 and number 2 on page 25. We looked at the CONTENT words and made PREDICTIONS, as I showed you in today's slideshow.
